Meet Dr. Bobbi

Dr. Bobbi Wegner is an experienced psychologist, speaker, author and advisor focused on cultivating individual and organizational wellness through the power of human connection. She is the founder and CEO of Groops, a group connection platform that brings people together to explore areas of shared growth through psychology-based workshops facilitated by experts in group dynamics and facilitation.

Dr. Bobbi writes and speaks internationally on emotional wellness. She has a column in Psychology Today (Perfectly Imperfect Parenting), is a parenting expert on NBC News Learn, and is on the Today Show parenting team, and has spoken on or written for numerous popular publications including NPR, Harvard Health Blog, The Associated Press, Mind Body Green, and Sunrise (Australia’s No. 1), to name a few. Her book, Raising Feminist Boys: How to Talk to Your Child about Gender, Consent, and Empathy, published in June 2021 with New Harbinger. She has given three TEDx talks on the subject.

Given her interest in emotional wellness, access, innovation, and entrepreneurship, Dr. Bobbi teaches Groups and Culture, and Motivation at Harvard University.

She is committed to furthering mental health access on the board of directors for USA for IOM (The UN Migration Agency) and the board of advisors for Ignite Mental Health, out of Harvard Innovation Lab. She is also a medical writer and reviewer for Buoy Health, a Harvard-Innovation Lab digital health company.

She also has three spicy kids and much of learning is done at home, outside of Boston.
